It hasn’t quite sprung yet. It was 80 degrees for 3 days in a row, and I got cocky and planted stuff. Then this past weekend I had to scramble to build a cold frame to put over the raspberry bushes because it got down into the low 30’s at night for a few nights and we had a nor’easter with some snow.

Now it’s warm again, so I’m getting cocky again. We’ll see how it goes.

I’m not the only one the warm weather excited. The perennials are starting to grow on their own due to the warm weather. I love this time of year, wandering around and seeing what is coming back. I put in a lot of perennials last year, which was expensive so I’m understandably waiting with bated breath to see what died and what didn’t.
